One thing I would like to add, if there was a way to contact folks along the route that different people are travelling to the event that may be of assistance in case one of the travelers has any problems. Mabey that is asking too much. Any way, most local garages, if they still exist don't have a clue or don't care and certainly don't have any parts if needed. Just my thoughts.
Looking at a non highway (interstate) route I'm sure there must be a member or two along the way in Ohio, I know of at least 2 along the route in Ky and at least 2 in TN.

I will put it out there right now. I'm just 10 miles west of Lexington Ky. Anyone passing near and has any problem can call me and I'll do what ever I can to help solve a problem. May not be too handy at fixing because of back problems but I have a garage and tools available. If your going to TS15 pm me and I'll send phone and address with directions. The goal is to have fun with other FTE members

When this event gets closer there will most likely be a private email list published. You'll get to know who is along your intended route. And Bob is right, everyone was concern about "Where is Bob"

My temptation is growing, I to will throw my hat in the ring, If someone is in my area in need I will be happy to help. I'm about 6 miles off of US 35 in southern Ohio. PM me prior to leaving for a phone number. If I decide to go, I'll give a neighbors # Thanks to all, I'm sittin' on the fence.

Likewise, I'm 30 miles east of Lexington. I have tools, shop space, a trailer, and a fenced maintenance area.

I'll be going to TS15, but you can keep my place in mind just in case.

BUT it wasn't Bob's fault !!! SHE told him wrong. He was just following HER directions. I remember him saying it was all her fault.

Just barely over 6 months away. Dave, I got a taste of your love for ethanol gas Sunday. I drove my 49 to town and back. Was way down on power going. Whatever gum or water or whatever in the carb cleared itself out as I was driving down main street. It ran very well all the way back home.

When I got the dates for this event at the park, I tried to get the weekend before because I knew that a lot of guys really like the Fall Ford Truck Fest in Townsend by True Blue Truck magazine. I recently checked the website and they still hadn't updated the schedule for 2015, but when I mentioned to one of the Tennessee Chapter guys that I was gonna have to miss Townsend for Truckfest, he informed me that they changed the dates for 2015. The new dates for Townsend are Sept 3-5th. I checked the website and the Tally-Ho showed no rooms available, so I called to see about a waiting list and when I said I was with the truck show they said that they had rooms still being held for it.
