I was implying to the clip , have you one of these?
I suppose a cable tie would do the job as well, just so the opening lever won't open accidentally.

I have these valves on the landcruiser and the F250.
Great products, make oil changes much less messy.
I have even added them to the transmission and xfer case
on the Ford.
The xfer case tap has a 90 degree elbow on it, this was done
because the fuel tank is right up close to the outlet and I get
fluid all over it when draining the case, makes a big mess.

I had to get the xfer case valve from the US as it is not a size
carried in Australia.
I contacted the local Fumoto people and the guy I dealt with,
Jack Chan, was extremely helpfull offering to track down what I
needed and have it sent from the US, at no extra cost I might
add.

Great person to deal with, friendly and helpfull.

As for the clip, the first valve I bought from RiffRaff came with
one but the rest that I bought direct from Fumoto did not.

I have not bothered with the clip I have as I really doubt that
there is much likely hood of the tap being opened accidentaly,
they are quite tight.

I could be wrong, time will tell I guess.

Yes it does.

Contact Jack Chan

jack@fumoto.com.au

The guy is friendly and willing to help.
I am most impressed with the level of customer
service, I did not have to ask him to chase this
from the US, he offered.

Xfer Case tap

This is the Fumoto tap I have on the transfer case.
As you can see the front of the fuel tank is VERY close to the case.
And before you ask yes I did have to drop the tank to get the tap in.
I was dropping it to do the hutch mod anyway so I did not do it just for the tap.

That's looks good , but i don't want to drop the tank to fit one.

There would be on way you would fit that other wise.
Oh i should ask is that a long range tank or stock?

I would not have bothered if I was not dropping the tank anyway.

The tank is a 250 litre monster.
Don't know the brand, there is no marking on it I could find to
identify it.
It was in it when I bought the truck.

Probably this one:
:: The Long Ranger :: Ford F250

They are the only company I know of that made aftermarket tanks on a larger scale, unless yours was custom made.

Just had a look at the Lone Ranger link.
My tank does not look like one of theirs.
You may be right about being custom made.
