Build Progress! (1948 F-135 Canadian =F-5)

Hi everyone!
I know a lot of you like pictures!
Winter is coming so I have time to work on my truck!
I just finished the transmission for a complete rebuild!
Here is the pictures of it before!

A shame not many will ever see that!

What model trans is that? The 4-sp spurs usually have a separate clutch housing.

And we still continue on project!
Now motor and transmission are brand new and assemble!
Still waiting for few parts for engine...

Now the frame is paint and engine is in frame!
I had the chance to start the engine for the first time!
It start on the first try. I'm really happy.

Now I just finished all bearings and brake system in new!

I'm waiting for my gas tank to show up to start all fuel system.
After it will be exhaust.
And finally driving shaft.
So for april 2017 I should... no no.... I WILL have a rolling chassis!

nice work! i,m from the gaspe region. just wondering where you got your parts for your motor and transmission rebuilt. did you get them in montreal. i,m planing on rebuilting my motor and transmission this winter. i,m not sure what i need,until i tear it apart!
