Yes the Recon Dodge profile with smoked lenses and black base look killer, on most any color truck. Had them on my silver 2500, install was easy and never had an issue with them leaking or blown lights. Only thing I would suggest is to not use the plastic inserts for the mounting screws and just tap into the sheet metal, had a few of the inserts spin on me before the lights were even tight

Have pics but not sure if I can post pics of a Dodge on Ford forums

I like that! How we'll do they illuminate. I been riding around at night trying to find a truck to see how bright they are. Any pics at night would be wonderful!,

I'll snap some pic tomorrow night. I put LED in place of the regular bulbs but haven't tried with lights on yet.

Your Ex is looking great!

You have inspired me, and I think the Ex and I will be getting these for Christmas, but I think I might go with seven evenly spaced smoked, Ford style, lights.

I used two 6' ladders and a aluminum plank worked ok. A little unstable because they were junk ladders

I used two "little giant" ladders with an aluminum platform to stand on. Very stable set up.

Agreed, I really like the smoked lenses and would love to do this to mine. Any chance you could get some night time photos up? I am really curious how they look at night.

The RECON setup uses these:

RECON Part # 264280AM Amber LED Ford Superduty F250 F350 F450 F550 F650 cab roof light bulb LED xenon chicken lights

I am in the works of getting the smoked setup for mine, I can't wait

Sorry for the delay folks. I am using the Recon LED bulbs but the smoked lenses do come with Amber replacement bulbs - so no need to buy bulbs unless you want to go LED.

I also wired the lights to be able to switch on and off to my liking. So, brown wire from the light switch, to toggle switch to harness.

Pics...
