Radiator Shop referral request

Looking for a decent radiator shop... I live 20 minutes North of Sacramento in Plumas Lake; this is 10 minutes south of Marysville on Hwy 70. Looking for a shop within an hour.

Please provide examples of work done and price. I have a couple cracks in the upper tank seam where it meets the cooling area. Thanks!

Not looking for any proof... Just your word. And if you thought they provided a quality service for a reasonable price.

I googled it... Only three came up. There have to be more in the greater Sacramento area but to be honest I haven't had time to do the research myself just yet. I figured I would start with any shops that came with recommendations though...

Just stay away from Sacramento radiator service in Sacramento on Franklin Blvd. Asked them to remove the caps, rod and boil a super desert cool of mine. Got it home with a super crappy spray job. Flipped her upside down and she still had old spring pieces inside the bottom. So $80.00 for a crap spray job and nothing else done. That place is a rip off shop.

I took it to Ability Radiator in Yuba City, CA a few months back... They boiled it several times to get the gunk out only to find it was beyond repair. They actually fixed several tanks around the upper tank seem but it wouldn't hold pressure. Something about cracked headers which made it cheaper/better to simply replace. Since they couldn't fix it there was no charge; to me this makes them reputable. I still haven't replaced it though... Been just getting slammed with repairs on my daily driver; cheaper to fix occasionally than making payments.

As far as your experience... Not sure when it was but that sounds like a reportable offense to the Bureau of Automotive Repair. I hate using the law but there are way to many rip-off shops out there that basically screw you over unless you push back a little.
