I have a problem with my carb . Every time I accelerate quick it dies but when I do it slow it accelerates. I tried tuning it and didn't solve the problem. I changed the diaphragm and it still cuts out. I just don't know what.

If you can close the air/fuel screw idle jets in all the way and the engine continues to run with out stalling then it's a had main Power valve jet is bad.. Time to rebuild the carb.

Make sure it's shooting gas down the throat of the carb. Look down the carb while working the linkage by hand..'

Some Autolite 2100's had a accelerator pump check valve diaphragm by the main diaphragm. Looks like a birth control diaphragm for a rodent. Yours might be bad or missing. Note 9576 in this pic.

By the looks of it. I think I put the diaphragm facing the flat spot instead of the lil cylinder side. And I also put the spring the opposite side as well. Hope thats the problem

Prolly is. That 9576 makes sure gas goes out the nozzles and not where it came from. Let us know the outcome.

Get the Ford kit. The others have poorly fitting gaskets.

Yeah good or poor don't really matter if it's not install correctly right.

I'd check the vacuum advance before I attacked the carb.

LOL. I don't think that would work on a capybara.
