Fog light mod......

I did the fog light mod on my 03 (the one that keeps them on when the high beams are turned on). I thought I saved the instructions but can't seem to find them now. I would like to do it on my 05. I did a search on this forum but couldn't find the one I was looking for.

It was an easy one......I think cutting a wire and grounding one end and splicing the other one to another wire.

If someone can help, I'd sure appreciate it

THANKS

Are we aware that here in Canada under MVA this is illegal. The cops really will not ticket a motorist but it is illegal.

Absolutely Illegal when used improperly. If you use common sense on a dark road with no oncoming traffic this could be beneficial and the extra light could prove safer.

Fully agree on the added safety. Why not purchase off road lights for this purpose if so concerned or better head light bulbs. Problem is this knowledge would be used improperly, hence illegally.

I have been told that on newer models. Ford dealerships can do this with their programs. I am sure this does not help.

Not to hi-jack this thread but do you have a pic of your set up?

They are Hella Blackmagic so they are hard to see, which is the idea. Daytime pic, doesn't really do them justice.
