Motor came in .....

Just got the motor and transmission in ...... 351W 400hp and 410 torque.

HI 54 Project, '
We bought a 351W short block & had our engine built with an Edelbrock Top End kit from Summit -
Same HP & Torque. It's a lot of engine for these old trucks.

If you are having some help with your engine - make sure they include case hardened push rods.
Our Edelbrock package ate our non-hardened rods within the first 1,000 miles...

Looks like fun up there in Burleson!

56 Panel- I had the combo built by ATK. I was really surprised at the cost and the warranty. 2 years on both !! They do have a site. Just google ATK.

Ben...... That is what was specked. You are right, quite a bit of horsepower for such a light truck. But I figured the ole girl would like it !!

It has sure been a while............ but it's still going got the rearend and suspension rebuilt and changed out........... front end almost done........

From where did you purchase the front end, I got min from Jhonny law motors it looks deferent than what you got, l had to modifi it to avoid welding it to the frame

I bought mine from Mid Fifties but it actually came in CPP boxes. I guess they buy from them.
