Part help please...

Can you provide a picture? It sounds like base part number 8A398, but no F100 or F250 applications listed for that part. It's called a "Radiator Upper To Support Seal Assembly" and for 64/66 it only lists F350 and bigger trucks.
Most likely part number
C1TZ-8A398-A
I can't find any of those available. Sorry, if that is the part number there doesn't seem to be any left.
I wonder if someone took a piece from another truck and fitted it to yours or maybe swapped out core supports. Might not be, but I've not seen what you are talking about in all the actual F100 and F250 trucks I've both looked at and seen that area in pictures. But a picture from you might ring a bell.
Wiring harnesses were hung on the radiator support with plastic clips so there were holes for those clips. Would be interesting to see what you've got there.

Sorry; I have no pics and have never seen one either. I assumed there was one due to the factory holes along the front of core support near the top.??? Now that I think about it; I may have had a brain fart. I re-wired my truck and I believe those holes were for wire retaining clips for regulator wires. DUH!
I'm doing a custom cooling setup and looking for something to seal the gap between radiator and core support. Thank you for the reply!

I bought my Slick about 1980 or 1981, and was in all original, decent shape. It never had a seal such as you describe, and all the other Slicks I have been around over the years never had one either.
None of the parts sellers show one, either original or reproduction
That seal is a good idea, though, if you have need of more cooling, or have an A/C condenser in front.
