Any 53-56 F100 owners answer this wiper motor question?
Hey guys.
Engineer wants a better setup than I have with my lhd wiper arrangement, which is fair enough as the current wipers cover about 65 percent of the glass on the rhs. All well and good if I was staying lhd, but I am converting to rhd and the wipers arent gonna clear enough of the glass to see out of. Longer wiper arms arent the answer as they just go over the roof and jag conversion makes no difference because the issue is the holes in the cowl are not centred, the left hole for the wiper shaft is about 8" from lhs of cowl and the rhs shaft is fairly centred.
Anyone overcome this problem?
I guess ideally, I would be looking for a rhd wiper mechanism and would have to cut a hole in the cowl and reposition pivot point.
Any thoughts?
