Kumho Road Venture AT tires - anyone running them?

So, I think I will be putting on 4 new tires before winter. Probably before this month ends. Been trying to decide what I want. I like the look of the new BFG AT tires. However, I was talking with a friend over the weekend that runs a 350 dually and has run bigger trucks for awhile. He really like the Kumho Road Venture AT tire.

ROAD VENTURE AT - Kumho Tire USA, Inc.

Has anyone run these? If so, what are your thoughts on them?

Thanks!

Those were on mine when I bought it. Good tire, seemed to have worn well from what they looked like when acquired, plus the four months I had them and didn't require a lot of weight on rebalance. Did well in the wet, but they had a bit of squirm and following on road irregularities like the corrugated pavement when following the lines.

Like I said, only had em for four months before the lift and new tires so don't take my experience for common or gospel.

Personally, with winter coming up, I would say go with the nearly universally trusted BFG. Always buy the best item you can afford.

I currently have them on mine. They were on the truck when I bought it just over a year ago. I live in PA and travel back and forth to TX a few times a year. I have put about 25,000 miles on them and they have done very well in all types of weather. The tires did see a decent amount of snow last year and did not have any problems. I do not tow anything and run 65psi, the wear pattern is pretty decent even though I have only rotated them once in the past year.

I will be going with the BFGs when it is time for a new set, simply because I hear good things about them and I like they way they look.

I'm on my second set on my 6.0. I'm about to buy a set for my v10.

Pulling stumps:

Snow:

Video playing in the snow, when I come across a stuck cadilac, explorer, and UPS truck, and pull all 3 up the hill.

Says that youtube clip is "private", maybe it is just me though. Would be interesting in watching it though.

Should be fixed?

I didn't leave the camera rolling while I actually did the pulling, sadly, so don't get your hopes up.

I have them on my 05 superduty 6.0 and they are great 35 in versions. We also put them on my wifes 03 Expedition and they are a far better tire than the Nitto terra Grapplers that we had on the Expedition. I have 34 in Nitto Terra Grapplers on my 2000 Excursion, and wish it also had the Kumhos, they are a much better riding tire on road and off. Great on rough pavement. I have about 5000 miles on the Kumhos that are on my F250 CC and they look like brand new.

Thanks for the feedback. I think I have narrowed the search down between these and the new BFG All Terrains KO2. I will be putting them on later this month after I decide which way to go.
