AOD Buzzing from the TV shaft.
My aod will buzz from the TV shaft sometimes when idling. In gear or In park. I know it's coming from the shaft, I crawled underneath and felt around. When I move it, (increasing pressure) it goes away.
Everything runs fine, just annoys me having an abnormal sound.
What the heck is happening?

Check your line pressure. Put the gauge on the test port, it should show a couple psi minimum at idle in neutral.
Now put it it drive and mash the brakes. Give it just a bit of throttle and as you do that you want to eyeball the gauge and make sure line pressure comes up right away, as soon as the throttle moves.
Also it seems that Ford redesigned the valve body gaskets sometime in the early 90's to fix a buzzing problem. Is this trans original?
