04 6.0 diesel starter issue

Well now on top of my 4wd issues, the damn truck won't start. I was at my buddy's house and went to start the truck up, it cranked over like normal a couple times then just stopped. Now it only clicks. I crawled under to tap on it with a hammer and noticed it wiggling when I hit it. The bottom bolt is missing from the starter, the middle one is there, not sure about the mischievous top one, but that dang thing is loose. Could my starter be bad, or should I look elsewhere?

Well I found the problem on my own. The connector on the power wire broke on the starter terminal, so Im not getting current to the starter. Hopefully replacing it tomorrow.

Does anyone know the size to the bottom bolt for the starter? Mines missing, so I can't take it out and compare, and it's not m8x1.25 like i've read. The m8 slides straight through

Well I got it started again, replaced the connector, made my own wire crimper from a cheap pair of bolt cutters. Shrink tubed it back up, bolted on, still no start. Had to replace the starter as well, I think I fried it trying to jump the hot wire to ground just to get it home. The top bolt isn't bad to get to like I've heard, just used a deep well 13mm on 2" and 3" extensions on a 1/4" ratchet. Worked perfect with no need for a wobbler.

BTW the bottom bolt is M12x1.5 I think (it is the coarse M12 for sure)
