My 7.3 has a fuel leak that seems to be dripping from the bottom of the hpop. Fuel doesnt pass through the hpop does it? I cleaned the valley thoroughly so i could find the leak and thats were it was. I changed the pump and hoses while i was in there.

 

My truck is a 96 f350. I changed the orings in drain tube. The leak is fuel so i know after looking in other post fuel doesnt pass through the hpop. I cannot find the leak. it really sucks because my 2000 international 4700 with a 7.3 is leaking to.

 

If it looks like it is dripping from the HPOP, then it may be coming from one of the fuel return lines the go from the front of each head to the fuel pressure regulator on the driver side of the fuel bowl. Check those two hoses. They are a common leak point. If you need to replace them you can get them here OEM / Factory
