truck has issue

ive got a 2009 f250 v10. last week while pulling a trailer it started missing. i drove home and checked the codes and got p0208, i replaced the injector, plug both o2 sensors and it still misses and throws the same code. any help would be appriciated.

Did you replace the coil for that cylinder ?
This is the most frequent failure.

no i didnt. i assumed that the computer woulf tell me if it was failing. is that not the case?

No the computer only tells you that there is a miss in a particular cylinder, not the cause .
After a number of years and mile , these ford coils begin to fail.
It is best to replace them with another ford coil.
But there are other brands than have been found to be satisfactory.
Do not buy into the hype of accell coils, they don't last long or are intermittently bad , so as to make troubleshooting difficult.
Mod motors don't seem to like anything other than ford.

Trouble codes point you in a direction, but they don't always tell you exactly what's amiss.
