It's a bachelors of Science degree.

So, what do you intend to do with all of that knowledge?

 

Eventually I want to open my own game studio. I hate the repetitive drivel that they currently produce for the lowest common denominator. Generally they just change the maps and increase the clarity on the graphics of the last one and send it out as a whole new game. This is what the big companies do. They are scared to push the envelope and stray from the same old crap and risk losing their profit margins.

I have several games mapped out and ready to start. I just have to find something to keep me making money while I work on my stuff. I am considering creating and selling asset packs and taking on contract work. I really don't want to work for a big company as they just want drones and not creative ideas or individualism.
Once I get one of my games into a show-able state I can pitch it production companies or Angel investors for funding to pay me to build my own game. I don't need a ton of money but need to make between $1500-$2000 a month to be able to do what needs to be done.

 

And all this time I thought everyone on FTE had a degree in BS. Shows you what I know eh?
