I don't have a flag on the wheelchair, but I did put a bunch of red/white reflective tape on it from Autozone. Of course, that does not help in the day time. I always look before crossing a street or driveway, but for some reason didn't this time. The light was green for me, and there were cars stopped at the light in the two lanes going straight. There was nobody in the turn lane, he just came out of nowhere, and did not stop.

On the way back home I saw a white Camry that looked like it could be the one that almost hit me, but the license wasn't the same. Of course, it happened so fast, and I only got 2 of the 7 numbers, so maybe it was the same one. After all, what are the odds of two 80's Camry's being in the same neighborhood? Anyway, I let it go. I will just have to be more diligent in the future. There is no protection on this chair just like the bike, and I doubt I would get lucky a second time with only a broken leg. I may start wearing a bike helmet.

Yeah but a flag will show higher thus easier for drivers.
Talk about a ****ty day. Around 6 I`m between Napa and Sonoma someplace and into the thottle pretty good while climbing a small grade (passing slow car in a line with others) anyway hear a noise, smell something then lose power. Sheet, pull over and in the darkness I could see 15 qts of oil in dirt. Thought I blew motor. Call AAA and 2 hours later they come tow me to AAbco (great shop btw). Ends up I blew a high pressure oil line. Now I have to go to car wash to spray which is good because in my mind I was going to go buy a new truck this weekend.
1/2 hour I`m picking her up

That was a close call Hank. Glad you did not blow the motor. I have a flag I use for four wheeling, I guess I could try and jury rig that on the chair somehow. Or just get into the habit of looking both ways...twice. LOL

I've been busy as all hell. I've got class 5 days a week and am working 4-5 days a week on campus, along with my 150 miles of commuting a day. I've been lurking every night but haven't had much time to post up.

Heading for Portland to do some sturgeon fishing this weekend though. Taking a break from it all.

I use dino Delo in my 7.3, which is the one that blew hose. Whole underside to rear was soaked in texas tea.
In my 6.0 I run synthetic Rotella T-6

You must be stronger than I am, I could never pick up a garage.
