No problem, funny conversation. Reminds me when I was a kid hauling junk to the land fill with my Grandpa in his 57' Ranchero. Trucks/cars back then were more like small, enclosed playgrounds for kids. The concept of being strapped in to a designated seat was not present haha.
Anyhow. I have read that these trucks came with two transmission options. One had to be double clutched and the other was a synchro I believe? Is there an easy way to tell which this has by looking at it? I guess my other question is does it really matter? Either one should be fine right?
And if anyone on here in the Oklahoma or surrounding areas know where I can find a set of 22.5" or 19.5" 5 lugs let me know. Thanks a lot.

Weather permitting, I'll be going to an event in OKC first week of December. If 19.5s are of interest to you I could take a set along. Stu

I believe all the trucks with the "M" six had the syncro-silent transmission, but I could be wrong on that. The easiest way to tell the difference is, the T9 spur gear transmission has reverse over to the right and back against the seat. The syncro-silent T98 has reverse over to the right and up against the dash. Looks like a great truck.
