Morning guys.

Miles that snow wall is wild.
6' in one area and just inches 5-6 miles away, crazy.

Good morning Connecticut.

So far system is working like a charm. A little getting use to be old and computer ignorant.

This snow reminds me of living in upstate New York in the 70's. Measuring snow by the foot rather than inches here in CT. We had 4 ft. over night then I came back to Ct the next day and they shut the state for 26 inches under Ella Grosso.

Going to pick up dog food (Blue Seal 100 lbs.) today and a truck wash.

Good morning everyone.

Looks like we'll be buying eggs from the store again. Early this morning our coop caught fire and none survived.

We used a heat lamp to keep them warm at night, and that must have ignited the wood shavings they used as bedding. We are fortunate that it didn't catch the house on fire, but my wife took it pretty hard. We had five birds in there.

Evening guys

Tom I am sorry about your chicks.

I have 9 chickens too, so I sympathize.

Morning.

Going to be a brisk one out there today.

Washed the truck and hard waxed it. Ready for the snow.

When we lived in upstate we had 12 chickens, 8 turkeys, and 3 pigs. Our biggest problem was the Wiesel. It would grab one and drag it threw the fence and we would find the carcass with in a click, just feathers. 22 cal. took care of that problem.

I do know that most women and children really get attached to the animals and take it really hard. Hope they are okay.
