Whatever they use to tan the leather for Mercedes upholstery has a terrible side effect...it makes you drive like a MORON.

That might work or maybe she will kill me.

Question: It's time for me to undercoat the truck for winter. I used the stuff that everyone used last year, but what a pain to get it everywhere. Is there a spray can that does as good a job?

Good morning everyone.

Agree with Andy on the permission vs forgiveness thing. And don't be jealous of my little Polaris, my parents just brought this guy home on Saturday:

Under $10K, and it has seatbelts. Perhaps your wife would go for that one instead?

I had her in Cabala's on Saturday. We were looking at 2 seaters with cargo carriers in the back. ranging between 7k to 9k Interested but not sold. She says were are you going to ride them? I told her Mass and Maine, just throw it on the trailer and go. Now awaiting for her a reply.

I wouldn't recommend one of the Coleman ones from Cabelas. They're Chinese imports, and they haven't been out there long enough to really get a good idea of their quality. Parts would be hard to find as well.

I'd recommend Shark Cycle up in Stafford. They currently have a Polaris and a pair of Arctic Cat two-seaters for under $7K.

ATV - Arctic Cat, Can-Am, Honda, Kawasaki, Polaris, Suzuki - SharkCycle

I didn't know that they were made in china. Polaris has a good name. I'll look into them. When we go to the Berkshires there is a dealer that I know and will have to see what he has in stock.

I was able to make a little progress tonight. Got the old brake line off just in time for all light to dissipate. Thank you daylight savings...you actually stole daylight from me when I needed it, haha. I will run the new line over to my mechanic friend down the road from my in-laws, and have him double flare the ends for me.

Aw man! All this talk about quads has me wanting one again. Not like I ever stopped, I just have to tell myself no. I have the same wife problem. I just bought a truck, and have nowhere to put a quad for now. I was checking out that Honda that shark cycle has. My grandparents have a very similar one on the farm that I use when I visit. Works great as far as I can tell.

Hooray for progress!

I got my front end put back together today, tried to do the alignment the best I could, took numerous attempts but I got it so it wasn't pulling in either direction much, then decided to play with it some more and made it worse again haha. Think I may bring it in for a proper alignment at a shop soon. I'll be sure to tip the tech an extra $20 cause these things have got to be the worst ever to align.

Good evening everyone.

Have to pick up my generator from the shop tomorrow. Hoping I can fit it in the trunk to avoid having to drag the trailer around.

I had to have ball joints and front wheel bearings put in my Explorer yesterday.

I hope everyone gets out to vote today.

Looks like gas is about to get cheaper. The Saudis just cut prices which dropped the price of oil another $4/barrel. Give it a day or two and prices will tick down some more at the pump.

Keep it coming!

Happy Tuesday, November 4th, "Election Day".

Couple of weeks to Maine, and maybe some snow. I don't think the ATV would be very good in the snow if there is any depth to it. But on the other hand I have a 4x4 Ford F250. And I know playing with the truck is fun.

Well it's back to stacking wood only about 4 cords to go.
