Heading up to PF on the 12th of Sept. for the rod run. I was up there last year and the whole parkway was lined up with every old car and truck you can imagine. Hope the weather allows me to go.

You must be going to the grand----Were going the 5th sept for the shades rod run, been going for ten yrs. We like it better than the grand-Grand is more muscle cars--Shades is more the older stuff===HAVE FUN
I was in PF about 3 weeks ago. The Grand hotel is completely shut down and undergoing a full renovation. I wonder who's hosting the rod run nowadays. Not that it matters considering the entire town becomes the show........

I was in PF for the Spring Hot Rod Run and it was at the new LeConte center. It will be at the same place this week. Very nice place.
It's pretty ironic considering the Sevierville/PF area is exploding all around it.
I don't know if it's a stall for permits or otherwise, but the company that now owns the property is a really big time hotel group. Their plans for the Grand are pretty grandiose and if completed to plans will most certainly never host another car show.
