A/C vent problems

Oh crap. Ya sorry i should update that. I'm stationed in Oahu, HI right now and I'll be moving to Dallas TX in January. So salvage yards here (if they exist) are probably super shady and won't have anything usable.
My friend told me about LMC trucks site....but the links don't work for me. I'll try again this afternoon after I get my truck jump started

From the pics you posted, it looks like this is the canister setup you will be looking for. However, I believe any canister that you can hook up will work. All it has to do is hold and store vacuum. Yours was not in this location originally, I moved mine to install some other junk, uh, I mean cool mods!
I also saw this unhooked in the background. Yours is red. This needs some attention also.
BTW, tell us a little more about your truck. Specifically engine size and trans, 2WD or 4WD.

(may have to move mine like you moved yours. my pa system is probably gonna be in the way haha)

has a flowmaster exhaust (no idea which one. no paperwork and no ID or numbers on it that I can read)
6" lift with 36x14.5 15LT super swampers (SO LOUD)

Stupid check engine light came on....its done it 3 times. First time. I was offroading second te was when my gas cap cracked and then this morning...this IS the first time its done it 2ce tho. Idk Im gonna pretend there is no problem until I go out and crank it up again and see if it comes back on. Lol

With all the vacuum mess you have I'm surprised the light wasn't already on! It's probably the egr system not working properly because of lack of vacuum. Fix the obvious first, then run the codes and see what you have.

it hasnt stayeed on either. it flashed on this morning while i was parking. turned on again for a few seconds driving to my company, and then i turned it on at my company and let it run and it turned on and stayed on till i shut my truck off....then driving home after work it never came on. its possessed.
but ya. parts should be here saturday morning and then on to the next fix lol

Warm up the engine then do this: Fuel Injection Technical Library » How To Run a Self-Test
Or purchase a code reader such as the Equus/Inova 3145. As noted previously you are probably getting EGR related codes because the vacuum reservoir is missing.
Getting a head start on some basic tools will save you $money$ later on.

There is a great thread on the FullSizedBronco.com forum on replacing vacuum lines. It is specific to the 5.0, but I think most if not all of it applies to our 5.8 engines as well. Based upon that posting you want the red and black connected to the canister.
