Good Morning Everybody!

Happy Turkey Day!

Jeff, if the engine had a 188K on it, it makes sense to do the injectors. At least that one to see if it makes a difference. If it clears it up, I suggest doing the rest of them.

As far as the trans goes, I want to hook up the overdrive off switch and peek in the pan. Then it's time to take it to a trans shop to see what's going on.

I'm going against every fiber of my being and staying home today. I need to be in the shop, but I guess it'll be a lazy day for me. I've been watching mega truck videos on you tube and I think it's time I get EQ squared away. I'm going to really try to get it to the mud bogs at the jamboree next year.

Happy thanksgiving folks, I hope everyone is well and has all that they need and want...feast hearty!

As for me lately...I've just been putting my 40hrs in, still clear cutting the right of way for KCS RR.

And for truck related stuff...I've finally procured a rear bumper for my supercab! Also, I picked up a new ACME 12k receiver hitch, but after installing it and seeing where the bumper will need to sit I may pull it off and just make one. Best thing about this bumper is, it was free!
It needs new mounts and I want to add some backup and marker lamps, also a couple of recovery points too. The bestest thing about this bumper is...I think it's going to match the front warn winch bumper very nicely!

Jeff congrats on your deer harvest...this season makes 2 in a row for me not getting out in the woods.

Been at the farm since Tuesday night. Went out Wednesday and there's something living in my stand that caused my allergies to go nuts. Had a good turkey feast with family.

RC, that g5 shares parts with Chevy cobalts and Saturn ions.

Evening All!

I'm STUFFED! Supper at the in-laws was great. Lots of great food and company. We ate hours ago and and I'm still ready to blow apart at the seams.

Here is an idea for a easy rear one, even though now it has been modded to fit on the back of the red Bronco.....

Good Morning Everybody!

RC. I stopped by the car lot and dropped off the money for the parts. The delivery guy is usually there by 0800, but they changed drivers on me, so I have no idea when he'll show up. Jerry is gonna give me a call when the parts get there.

I dropped off the deer quarters at the slaughter plant to get cut and ground up. I more want ground meat, but told them to give me a couple roasts for Tiff.

Last night, .....oh man, did I learn a lesson about ileostomies. The doc says it was a "transient blockage". I had something blocking my intestine, but it was moving very VERY slowly. This created pain I had not ever felt before. (and I'm no stranger to severe pain) It was the first time I prayed for death since my spine injury. I just wanted it to stop. Nausea, vomiting, cold sweats, shakes, ...you name it. Wanna know what it felt like? Go lay on the ground and have somebody park the family pick up on your chest. ....about like that. There was no position that gave any relief. I took some left over pain meds and cranked up the electric blanket. I guess whatever it was worked it's way out because today I feel almost normal. I'm just scared to eat anything. That is something I do NOT want to have happen again.

Sounds terrible Alan! :-! Hope it doesn't come back round.

So, I have owned the turkey bowl championship for 4 years ( madden football ). We play every Thanksgiving. Its not that I'm better than my boy....its that I'm a good clock manager and had a running back that was very decent. I own the Championship again, 1 game by 1 point with 2 seconds left and the other by 9 points or so. My qb couldnt pass to wave his tail...lol fun times for sure!

I hope none of you are out shopping today.....that is just insanity! A lot of the stuff they bring in to sell they won't guarantee anyway. I have a buddy that bought a weird named tv from Sams on black Fri a few years back. He really could not afford to buy a big tv, but the black Fri deal put it within range....he stayed up all night in the cold and got it.....3 months later it died...he took it back and they told him it was not covered because it was a black Fri shipment and that they don't carry that brand normally. He didn't own another tv for another year. Terrible situation. Just fair warning....I'm sure not all the stuff is like that....

Have a good day gents.

6 roasts, (cut up some for jerky). Had to take the ice maker out of the freezer to fit all the meat...good haul this year. I was making jerky with some of the roast meat and tried some before it was jerky...twisted like mini steaks! Needless to say my son and I had our fill before it was done lol
