I have a 95 bronco with a carb 460 I kept the two weel tranny and put a devorsed transfer case from a old tow truck don't no what year doesn't line up to front and back can I change tail stock to four weel or can I put new case on 351m tranny what's the best thing to do?
Yes. Like I said up there ^. Strip the transmission down and change output shafts. That is the only way.
This is exactly correct. You can convert a 2wd transmission to 4wd. I've done it a bunch of times. But you do have to pull everything out of the case to swap the output shaft.
Can i bolt a farmer 4 from a small block bell housings to a big block bell housings that fits my 460?
find yourself a ZF 5 speed. you get the granny low just like the older manual transmisions and the benefit of overdrive. not to mention the ZF is common in F250/F350s running a 460 so you can get the tcase, crossmember everything and also grab the peddle assembly and the hydrolic clutch.
