My neighbor and good friend has known this gentleman for 30 years. According to him, the aneurysm was some time ago. The doctors recommended that they pull the plug on him, but his wife refused. She saved his life, and she past was in the near past.

I know this to be true.

I'll get pictures possible Tuesday.

It sounds like all the parts are the right type and the end product can be beautiful but remember till they are done they can be money pits, and they are never really done. It sounds like you have a more solid base than my truck. I'd drop down and look at frame that is not boxed and motor mount placement IE how professional it all looks, also check cab corners 'cause they can be fun. Oh and welcome to the fun.

I'm headed there at 8:00 AM tomorrow. I'll take a bunch of pictures. When you talk about corners, I think you're talking about dent etc. in the corners of the cab?

Thank for all the help. This is my first trip to look at the truck. I do have a friend that is more experienced at this than I am. I'll take him on the second trip if I feel I need to. I hope I don't come home will all three cars. That will not make my wife happy. She does get over stuff, it just takes some time.

Usually the cab corners (bottom rear) are susceptible to rust ahead of many other areas of these trucks along with the bottoms of the doors and parts of the fenders.

Very nice. Thank you. I'll keep this in mind. It will be interesting to see how he handled rust issues.
