Fuel Pump Relay Location

I am looking for the location of the fuel pump relay for my 1999 Ford F550 V10 4WD Gas truck.

I have replaced the fuel filter and fuel pump. When the key is turned the pump gets juice and 2 seconds later is not getting juice. No lines are coming into it, so it's not getting up to pressure and shutting off.

Any help would be appreciated.

If Ford did not changed much. I know in the newer
trucks it's part of the CJB (Central Junction Box). In other words
it part of the fuse box under the dash.
If you have a no power to the pump issue. Have you checked the
inertial shutoff switch? If you have a meter check the voltage
drop across the terminals. Then check both to ground. Do this
during you key-on pump run time. The first test should be close
to 0 VDC and the second should see close to 12 VDC (or what ever pump voltage it).
If you get a voltage of lets just say 5 VDC on the first test Then I
would try a jumper in place of the switch to make sure that your
getting full voltage to the pump circuit.

I wished I had a diagran that I could post for you but I don't have your year
in my collection of diagrams.

Sean

EDIT : After rereading your post. Not sure if it is an electrical problem. What happens when you try to start?

When the key is turned the pump gets juice and 2 seconds later is not getting juice.
That is how it is supposed to behave. The pump will then resume operation only AFTER the engine starts to fire.

The FP relay on a 99 Super Duty is in the instrument panel with the flasher relay. You have to pull the radio out to get to it.

If the fuel pump runs for two seconds but the pressure doesn't build up, it's not a fuel pump relay problem.

Problem solved. Thank you for the replies.

First, I didn't mean it was coming up to pressure and shutting off, I meant that there was no lines connected to it, so it wasn't a matter of coming up to pressure and shutting off.

Ultimately, I realized the new fuel pump was shorter than the original by about 1/2" and the end wasn't reaching up high enough. I rigged it so it fit and is sealed, and it's working fine now.

Thanks again!
