i have a 1993 f150 302 and i was wondering about the bbk throttle body? i want to get a new one because its worn out and 700 dollars for a new one... for whoever has had this throttle body, how was installing it performance and possibly problems with it?

 

It is completely unnecessary to swap in a BBK, unless you have higher flowing heads. It sounds like you need to shop around a little if you were saying the stock replacement TB is $700. I would take my chances in a junk yard for that money.

Already played around with the junk yard. Same difference

 

Only difference I had was a stiffer petal, also had to port match the intake because of annoying whistle sound.
Even with gt-40x heads with the stock tb was fine

 

Meaning what? Do you have a problem you're trying to solve?
