I am in the process of putting a super duty driveshaft in a obs I know there is a 1" difference in length in the f250 and f350 shafts because of the d50 and d60 but is there also a difference In length depending on the trans

 

It looks like the only 2 lengths are 38 1/2" and 39 3/8" am I correct?

I am trying to replace my front shaft now, and I have had a miserable 3-4 days getting no where. Every supposed expert shop wants me to remove and bring my old shaft to them. I find that unacceptable. This is a common, high production vehicle. Professional driveline shops should know exactly what I need, based on application. Instead they all seem to be more worried about their convenience, rather then helping the customer.:
