Seal not set to the proper depth?

There's nothing else that could be rubbing, unless you are not using the genuine Ford bolts and they are a hair too long.

Bolts are cheap, having the flywheel come loose is not!

Hmmm...I am using the same bolts and flywheel I had on there. My book, says the RMS should be flush w/the the edge of the rear surface of the block/cap.

My thought, was that the bolts were hitting the back of the block, so none of the flywheel bolts use a washer on the backside (just a thought/I may have missed seeing them) :?*
