7.3 200/30 swamps injectors or 160/80 swamps injectors with GTP38R turbo
I am just curious which injectors i should go with. My truck has 220k miles on it, is an automatic, has a CAI and a straight pipe with the AIH mod. I am just curious which would be the best injector for around 400 RWHP and what the difference in power output would be between the two. Money is also a factor in that the 160's are $400 less than the 200's! What do i do?!

If you really have your heart set on 400 RWHP, the AC 160/100 will get you there - but if "saving" money means you go with remans (instead of new), I'll quietly sit back and resist the urge to say "told yuh so" if it unravels.
I installed AC 160/100 remans, then swapped them out for new.
When you shoot for that HP, be prepared for other weak links in the truck. Some go that far without issue, "Stinky" was not so kind to me.

An experienced tuner will have a better answer than I, but I've heard it takes the 100% nozzle to crest 400 HP. I know for sure that the sooner you get the fuel injected, the more HP you make - and the longer the injection cycle, the more low-end torque you make (and higher EGTs). Nozzle size dictates how fast you can get the fuel in there. So... high-RPM grunt, or acceleration from down low - what's your pleasure?

I love my 160/100 single shots. This turbonetics cant keep up with them but I'm willing to bet and many can testify that a GTP38R would provide the air I need.
Like they said, depends on what your goals are for the truck. I wanted my truck to have sack but also keep it reliable and avoid a huge money dump. I am happy with where my numbers are at (in signature) and I didn't have to do a huge money dump.
Modified Air in & Air Out, HPOP, Tuning, 160/100s, and a 38r will get you the power you are asking for no doubt.

There is no better injector on the market then a 160/100 for a working mans truck... Really nothing more to say about it. A 160cc injector will work with the factory HPO system, factory fuel system and factory turbo without issue... It can make anywhere from 360-400+ hp depending on other supporting mods.

Good lands those numbers are impressive. I'm going with the 80% nozzles though just for the sake of my goals. i feel like from what i have read that they will be better for towing and keep my egt's lower but those numbers are impressive with the 100%'s for no price difference they might be in consideration for how much power you are making
Thank you sir. And My egts are a bit higher than id like for them to be but like I said I could use a new turbo / live in a hot climate / think I may have a minor boost leak.
I wouldnt change my 100% nozzles for anything. I love how they perform. I vote go for the 100s but 80% would work well too.

I have 160/30's....like them really well. I did have a chance to drive Tugly's rig when I was out west....Stinky had a cold at the but I could see how that (160/100) would be a good set-up. I didn't want to get caught up in a never ending upgrade track.
I tow 22k lbs combined...and I have plenty power, good EGT's and good mileage. (both empty 19 and while towing, 12-13)
