ID this hubcap please
What Ford vehicle is this hubcap for? I know it is not for 48-56 Ford trucks nor any newer than that. Is it pre-48 trucks or is it for cars?
Please tell me the years if you can. Thanks!

'46 and early '47 Ford car. The stripes and Ford were originally painted red.

You can buy reproductions of those caps from Dennis Carpenter , Bob Drake, etc. Good quality stainless steel.

Yep. They look good on trucks as well as cars. They're the same cap just with the extra trim streaks.

They also fit the same wheels as the 48-56 hubcaps...

52Merc, I love the photo you posted of the '46 Super Deluxe coupe, that is my favorite early Ford car.

6A-1130-A hubcap as do 1948/52 F1's.
'46 and early '47 Ford cars are pretty much identical, but there are a few differences.
