I have this Turf Grass slowly taking over my yard and can't ID it . Even took some to U of Md, and they lost the sample. It is a lighter green than my Ky. blue grass, tall fescue mix. The grass is very dense, does not get very tall. It has single stalk, very small purple flowers. Nothing else will grow in it, no weeds, clover, or other grasses. During the Winter it dies back and turns tan. It is extremely drought resistant, it's never died during the summer. It is not Bermuda grass, it does not have "Helicopter" seed pods. BTW it is short enough, I could get away with not mowing it.
