Got an 89 and the dash lights only work when you turn on all of the interior lights. Turn on the headlights. Nothing. Adjust dimmer. Nothing turn on interior lights by turning dimmer till it clicks. They come on. Any ideas?

 

Replace headlight switch.

Buy a new one. Used ones can have issues. I've done it myself.
