Wife working on her truck
My wife Lois loves working on her truck. Here are a couple photos as proof. Believe it or not she and I picked up the frame and turned it over (this was before the new cross member and boxing plates) We use a hoist now.
Cleaning up the pedal assembly.
Frame prep. No it's not a dragster, wheels make it much easier to take outside for welding and grinding.

A perfect partner!
My wife only comes out to help me when she detects the sounds of things getting thrown in the garage or the colour of my language begins to darken. I think she comes out to calm me down rather than have the neighbour tell me off over the fence.
She came to my aid the other day. Put that rotten division bar in the door in under one minute flat! That was after hearing me complain about it for like, ten minutes....
Don't think I'd get her to help with the chassis tho...

My wife comes out to help me when I'm welding.... When we were dating at 50 and 55 years of age, I was showing off by welding on my pig roaster and come to find out she had 3 years of actual training and I was 'self-teaching' with my new mail-order wire feed. I think we are the lucky ones, who's wives don't think we are some kind of deviants because we wrench on stuff, even when we don't actually NEED to. Thanks for posting this!

It looks that way but just past the tree is another lot. We are very isolated though. Plenty of places to shoot around the area. I did require one trip to emergency when working on my 56 though.

House sits at the top of a 300 foot cliff so neighbors are not much of a problem. We have plenty of peace to do our work.
