Looking on the pep Boys site and next most affordable option is the Definity Dakota HT LT265-75-16 "ER" rated and 60k warranty comes to $630 installed without the road insurance - made by Cooper and got some great ratings...

I use D rated... Here are the specs...
LT325/60R20 D 121R 200-490 15.6 35.12 12.91 9.0-(9.5)-12.0 3195 @ 50

Not really worried since they are rated at 3195 lbs each.

Forget Peps....
Tire Rack has some decent deals right now. ( I just picked up E Pirelli's for 600 (delivered) plus $60 rebate)

I see some other E rated tires even a bit cheaper...some D's there as well.
Do some homework, purchase 4 tires, wait 2) days for tires, get the rebate, stop at Dunkin Donuts, go to Hazlet Votech w/ aforementioned donuts, have tires mounted & balanced, leave happy w/ better tires.
Everybody wins.....

Mine says rear GVWR is 5250# so it would need a "P" tire rated at 2625 x 1.1 = 2888# which is way over the 2601# the OP's Hankooks are rated at.

I don't run "P" tires on trucks anymore anyway; after cutting the sidewalls on a couple in the woods when I was young(er) and poor(er).

The load rating is different on the front & rear of the vehicle... that was the whole point; even if the four tires added up to the total GVWR, the rear tires would still be overloaded by almost 600# at full rated rear axle load.

Not to be funny, but does the 2wd/4wd play much of a part in this?

I don't know if they are rated differently due to drivetrain or engine options; mine is an '05 V-10 4x4 rated 4300# front and 5250# rear.
