so I've heard that there are some issues in changing spark plugs in many expeditions including 2006... at what mileage is it recommended to change out these plugs? how easy does the special tool make it to change the plugs that break? thanks, Johnny

 

The plus are changed at 100K miles. The older engines were a bear to change because there were more things to be removed, like the fuel rail. The later engines are much easier. Knock wood I've never had a plug break, so I've never had to use the special removal tool, like the $60 Lisle one.
