It says I can't vote. If it matters, put me down for Hiawassee, GA.

Too bad the single vote restriction is based on user name not ISP. I could inflate some numbers for you.

My personal best on the "Cool Rides" voting is 5 in one day. My home computer, work computer, 4G, Arby's wi-fi, and the garage of the guy doing the body work on my truck.

Maybe if I create more user names. How about something about a cool f1? Wait, mine's an F100.

It's a year off, almost, I'm not surprised a lot of people aren't willing or able to commit. A lot could change in a year.

I don't think we are looking for a commitment , just some input on where we should start planning . These places get booked well in advanced . We also know a lot of people say they are coming and then back out , But if we get ten votes for one place and three for the other , we should work on the most popular one .

Both places sound fine to me. Unfortunately I'm unlikely to bounce all the way to either place in a stock '51 F3. Closer to iowa and I'm in.

Interesting vote so far. 10-6 overall in favor of Fall Creek. 5-3 among the TS veterans. Again, I like both. I will say this, I think the event should be at least 4 days (including the arrival and departure days). Shawnee seemed kind of rushed with showing up on Friday and leaving on Sunday.

That is easy for some of us old guys and girls and I like the idea. Might be a bit more challenging for someone still in the work force but anyone coming late or leaving early would certainly be welcome. I have confindece that TS2015 will be organized, be it Dave's suggested location or Joe's suggested location. I believe by setting a firm date early it will allow anyone who must make a choice for that date get off the fence and make the decision to attend a TS event.

Like the events that were held at your place, the "official" days were Fri-Sat, but lots of folks showed up early and stayed late. At Shawnee, Patti and I arrived on Friday, but we actually stayed a few days after everyone left, I thought a few more guys might stay an extra day. For myself, with TS 15 I intend to arrive on Thursday and stay until Monday. But I agree with Ray, for the guys still working, they might have trouble getting the extra time off work. I also believe that getting the dates and location set as early as possible does make it easier for folks to make a decision, arrangements and a commitment.
