A question for FICM repair.com [ed}

Does a modern FICM use wire wound transforners or Capicters?
I know that both can do the same thing, sted up voltage.

A cap/diode voltage multiplier won't give you the current
like a transformer will. That is if I recall my electronic
training correctly. But then again your only dubbing twice.
