Interesting to me as I worked with a military contractor group who were going to (literally) chop and channel a hybrid M113 APC to fit in a CH-47. Pretty easy to do with a hybrid repower but funding fell through. It was educational though.

Anecdotes like the parent post matter as engineering and AFV history so feel free to post more. Plenty of FTE members were or are involved with the treadhead world so your personal insight into that piece of the Sergeant York fiasco is good stuff.
