Looking at new tires. The M/T are what I normally run but they are on back order. They have a new tire in the line up. R/T is a cross between the A/T and M/T. Rated exactly like the M/T, same compound, load rating and so on. Tread pattern isn't quite as aggressive as the M/T but close. Anybody try a set yet, thinking I may get them ....... and they have a 30 day "if you don't like them, we'll take them back" policy!

Look pretty good. I have running KO`s for years on my 01 and are awesome in snow and summer. I`ll be needing tires on my Exc soon so bingo I`m your huckleberry.

updated info.

The tire shop said they back ordered the M/T tires and said that if they install the R/T tires... if I don't like them, no questions asked, so why not. That was last Thursday and I've drove these for 3-4 days now. Wife said truck don't look tough anymore... strike one!

They are a little narrower in width, side stability is less and I can feel myself being pulled side to side in corners while towing. They are quieter for sure, look to have good tread and come with a rated 45,000 warranty, The A/T and M/T have no warranty. Manufacturer claims same compound, same nylon and steel ply's for both tread and sidewalls in both M/T & R/T. They don't look bad at all.

The tire does not have the aggressive sidewall tread like the M/T does. A measurement of the tread face is 10" compaired to the 13" on the M/T, why side stability is less. Cost between the two (R/T & M/T) is $50 and the biggest difference to me... tread depth. The R/T is 17/32" and the M/T is 21/32", that's about equivalent to 7.5- 10k miles. Warranty or no warranty, more rubber means more miles!

Just so you know...The A/T is a 6 ply tire, 2 ply sidewall and 17/32" tread depth, no warranty and don't compare to the R/T or M/T in weight handling.

Tire shop called yesterday... my M/Ts are in and the R/Ts are out. Dropped truck this morning... the M/T is a bigger tire in width, tread depth and sidewall design, meaning the tread goes well down the side of the tire. I hefted one in hand, much more weight to it, but the last set went 60K with normal rotation at every oil change.

Hope this helps you decide on tire selection in this brand tire.
