What is this '87 E350 RV solenoid?
My father-in-law is trying to replace this solenoid from his E350 1987 Holiday Rambler RV. He can't figure it out. He's bought a couple things already that an RV place said would work and they haven't. It's a two-piece item. They've spent days on it and have driven 100+ miles goose-chasing. Thanks! (They also haven't been able to determine the engine size. The VIN brings up screwy info.)

That looks like an old Ford/Dodge starter solenoid, with just an added fuse holder on top.
Is that used as the engine starter relay or for something else??
Some of the old RV stuff is just made up for there purpose, and one of a kind thing, from manufacture to manufacture.
Simple replacement would be to get a like solenoid, and wire the fuse holder, or replace the fuse holder with new inline fuse holder (2) and connect the lead to the hot side with a couple ring connectors.
Oh, and I solved you other post too, took some digging, but the 460 sound right for an RV.

THANKS!
Yeah, it appears to be built for RV duty. We got a good lead over at RV.net. It's called an RV Disconnect Relay Solenoid. Progress! I'll let him know... He'll be happy!
He and his helper pal are good at renovating. I'm surprised they haven't tried to do a cobble yet or to just dismantle and clean up the old solenoid, etc. But I think we're on our way now to a solution...
