2015 SD ideas?

I'm looking to make improvements to my 2015 dually after having it for two weeks.

This truck will remain stock as far as the motor and suspension go.

I'm looking at lighting upgrades, ideas to customize the badging, etc... Basically I want to improve upon what's already there but make small changes that make it look slightly different than others and make it my own.

What were some of the best "smaller" changes and improvements you made? I'm a fan of the DIY stuff and I know there's a lot of creative minds here.

I tried a search but without knowing exactly what I really want to do it was hard to find.

I'm in the desert area of Southern California. I haven't seen a droplet of rain in years and the only salt we use is for food purposes.

Only thing I have done is add a Lund soft tonneau cover and son-in law added a clamp on tablet mount to rear seat.

I like the Tonneau idea. I need a hard top style that is lockable and can roll up. It would work best for when I need to use my 5th wheel and I wouldn't have to remove anything. I just don't want anything soft sided if that makes any sense.

I wouldn't mind seeing a picture of yours to get an idea for looks if you have one. Thanks

I posted a picture in my FTE album but I don't know how to insert it in this thread. I also tow a fifth wheel and went with the soft cover due to expense and concerns over interference with hitch and view from rear window. But mostly expense (to tight for my own good)

PS Nice rig

Thanks gasman. I'm posting from my phone so I didn't think to look at your album.

Good points on the reasons for the soft cover.

I'll check out your album when I get to a desktop.

Appreciate the kind words

Tint your front windows to match.
And Since you like lights

Or LED lights

Or a topper (a boat behind isnt a bad accessory also)

I have also added 11" monitors and a blueray player for the back seat guests.

Windows are getting done on Saturday, thanks for the reminder.

Love your lights and you gave me some great ideas. Really liking the white lights.

11" monitors sound huge. I like it. I've got an 11 year old and 5 year old. That's an item I plan to add.

Exactly what I was looking for. That tonneau looks great and seems to serve its purpose.

I could give you step by step directions for Photobucket but I'd probably make it sound more complicated than what it really is.

I just did a Google search and the best directions are on a dog forum...LOL

The thread is a bit old but gives a decent page by page tutorial. Hope this helps.

What the heck is in the back of that truck making it point at the sky? I sure hope its not the boat causing that.

I've always wanted a set of these but just couldn't get past the price tag on them.
