No airflow in front vents
Been going through all threads and sites. Can't tell what the issue is.
2005 Navigator. So my rear vents blow cold and hot air just fine. Front is the issue. the windshield vents work fine. But the front and lower vents do not blow any air. Actually you can feel the tiniest air coming out like something is blocking it. When I change temp from cold to hot and vice versa, it works fine. Low to high speed works fine as well. Everything is pointing to (I think) the actuator. If so, is there 1 or 2 that I need to replace and where. Also how hard is it. Rather not pay the dealership $$$$. Any instructions or links to other threads that have resolved this would be great.
Thanks.

Thanks for the advice. I haven't had a chance to look yet but will try this weekend. So to make sure , I need to disconnect the battery, remove the tray, and look for loose or broken vacuum line(s). Is it one or more than one that could be broken? I assume I am just looking for some black tube. Anybody have a link to a diagram or picture of what I am looking for?
Do I need to do anything special to disconnect the batter (besides taking off negative first, then positive)?
Never done this before so sorry for the dumb questions.

I'm not going to lie, I have no idea what to look for. I checked for obvious loose tubes and/or cracked tubes, but nothing stood out. I even turned on the engine and the heat/ac to see if air was blowing out somewhere under the hood but also nothing. I assumed the tubes I should be tracing are the black rubber ones with the black mesh coverings. Whats the best way to find this leak?

Here is a thread that has a picture of the broken HVAC under the battery.
