Ebay score - cool to me

On my 71, I was always looking for the air breather setup that came with my Straight-6. Well most of the stuff was already on my "new" 69, except the proper heat riser tube from the exhaust manifold to the breather. I am using a piece of flex hose, which is fine.
But I would kind of like to have it the way I think it is supposed to be.
Ran across the pictured items when searching for a Carter YF carb for the 69.
The seller posted it has Carter YF air breather and filter.

Seller did not do himself any favors with his listing this as Carter YF air breather instead of Ford F100 air breather.

Was that the same for 1969?
That's where I am planning on using this - my 69 with 240-i6.

Then that would appear to match up with what I am needing for my 1969, correct?

what you have pictured looks like a match for 68/69 but not 70/73. Make sure it doesn't bind any of the arms or choke cable.

I'm wanting to add the riser to mine if I can find the parts at the pick n pull. all i need is the lower parts i think. That is if I understand how the system works.

I searched high and low for the riser and for the part that attaches under the manifold. Never did, until now. At least you can get by with a flex tube connection.
On my 71, the muffler shop welded a 2-inch piece of pipe to my exhaust manifold to allow me to connect a hose from there to my breather to allow it to pass inspection.

Your '69 F250 has a 360. Look at this parts catalog pic and post the number of the part you're calling a riser.

Air cleaner pic at left is the dry (paper) type, pic at right is the oil bath.

The vehicle she has pictured has a straight six under the hood. It is her 1970 model bump.

well bummer

This ebay score will not work with my 240. wrong shape for riser (which I don't have) and the part attaching to the engine (which I do have) will not work.
Back to the flex hose. Was really hoping to get under the hood to stock.
