Ford Racing Spark plugs?
#1
Hello all,
I looked online at spark plugs tonight and saw the Ford Racing Spark plugs for 3v's. It states on the website they are designed for a lower temp like supercharging but I'm not boosted RIGHT NOW. It's just hitting the 200k mark this November and I'm doing a big freshening up of the old beast.
I just wanna know are they gonna harm or benefit anything like gas mileage or reliability in any ways and if maybe they will help it any with any small mods I can do for now.
Thanks

Well if they don't last 100,000 I won't really be too bothered. It's gonna be mostly a 700+ horse Sunday cruiser when I get to the 250k mark.
Most people call me crazy but the ultimate goal is quarters in the 10's after he retirement from daily use. It's gonna be the family project truck and so fixing won't really bug me if its minor engine rebuilds every 5-10k.
BUT, she's not gonna be racing right now so I really just wanna know if maybe the colder temp it claims its either for or causes (unclear on that) is beneficial to a mostly stock motor. I do have a 170 thermostat and will do some more agressive trans and engine tuning at the 200k mark to run the truck a little harder but I'll add E fans for radiator and trans tuning too. I live in the heart of Texas so to me anything with the words cold or cooler sound nice. Thanks again
