Hvac not working properly

I have a 04 heritage, no vacuum leaks. The blower was only blowing out of the defrost, but it is slowly moving to panel or any other settings when I switch them. It's the manual style control unit. Tonight I got it to blow out the panel the. When I switch it to floor it takes a min. And it still kinda blows out the defrost but really strong on the floor. Switch it again and it takes a min. It really wants to favor the defrost. What is going on?

Thanks. I checked everything a little bit ago. my whole vacuum system seems to be good. I do have the controls working and changing from panel to floor and back to defrost and what not. it just takes a second for it to fully switch. not sure how normal that is.

the vacuum is stroking a couple cylinders and it will take 3-5 seconds to do that. If it sometimes does not stroke, or no work, you may have vacuum leaks inside the control ****.- controller.

Thanks. The trucks been sitting for a long long time. I'm hoping it'll work it's self out. More and more I mess with it the better it gets... I think. We'll see. Thanks for the input.
