New to me 6.0 Scanguage II
I recently picked up a 2006 F250 4x4 with a 6.0. I already have a scangauge from my Excursion. Last night I programed in the Engine oil temp and tranny temp Xgauges. Today I drove it 135 miles across Alligator Alley from Naples to Miami at about 75 mph.
The EOT stayed within 6-10 degrees above the coolant temp. most of the time, 8-9 degrees. The Coolant stayed between 186 to 190 and the EOT 194 to 198.
The tranny temp stayed a cool 154-155.
The only thing that was surprising was the Voltage. It would vary from 12.8-13.6 quite rapidly.
Givein these readings I would assume my oil cooler is in good shape.
Now that I have the Scangauge hooked up, what else should I monitor?

The main 4 I watch on the SG is EOT - ECT - FICM - ICP
Ocassionally I'll switch over to watch Boost - IPR - fan speed
Volts are always between .2-.5 lower at the OBD port (what you see on the SG) than at the battery. If you have a digital voltmeter, check the volts at battery and have someone see what they are on the SG. That way you'll see/know the difference.
Yes, your oil cooler looks good.

SC2 reading of voltage is notoriously low and bouncy, so I use an external meter for that. I monitor ficm, ECT, EOT like every one else, and I usually have the final gauge on fuel level. It's very accurate, and actually corresponds very closely to the dash gauge, but it's easier to see. I have an external gauge for fuel pressure as well. I rarely monitor anything else, although I do have VGT set up, it was handy when my turbo unison ring seized up.
