Need some thoughts on a trailer.
Looking at a 2007 TITAN 32 FOOT ENCLOSED. Carrying Capacity (lbs.): 22,500 LBS
Gooseneck 3 Dexter axles @ 7500 Lbs
$5.5K is what he is asking.
Is the unit Good/Bad/Average?
We may be moving this spring. This unit might be a little short for my needs.
I guess 2 trips can be done. It's only 10 Hrs each way plus load/unload time.
I am up for ideas. But not a moving co. We need temp storage at the house
during the sale. PODS cost way too much.

If you do get the trailer and it's a little short for a one load trip, why not split the load between the trailer and a rental truck like Penske or Uhaul, and having a friend or family member drive rental truck. It'll save you an extra 20 hour road trip. Just an idea.
Good luck,

A new 35 foot flat bed is around 8,500$'s so the price seems good. The biggest problem with triple axles is they can peel tires off the rim if you turn to sharp! Other than that TITAN is a well known trailer and if in good shape should be what you want. The rental truck is an excellent idea if you have a second driver.

I did the trailer thing for a move from NJ to Florida.
I checked with U-haul and a 20' Truck rental would have been $2380 plus taxes and insurance etc and I would have only been allowed to have it for 5 days.
I bought a brand new 8.5w x 20l x 7.5h trailer for $4350 at the manufacturer in GA. I've made 2 trips back and forth so far - had an old jeep and a new john deere gator UTV to bring down, moved my daughter into an apartment, heading to VA from Florida tomm to pick up a large Kubota Tractor and bringing it back to Florida, then back to NJ for closing on my house there and bring the final stuff from NJ to Florida.
I have got my money's worth from this trailer, and when I come back it is going to serve as my construction office as I build a new home on some property I bought.
When all is said and done I can sell it at 1/2 what I paid for it and saved myself a ton of money and aggravation.

Palm Coast, Florida Far, Far away
Not sure what milage I would get with it rolling back empty
but on the way down I should see in the 19~21 MPG
so a quick guess set me at about 6252 miles half at the 21 ish
MPG and ? for the return But if the I got 14 on the way back empty
That would put me under 1500 for diesel at current prices.
But I think budgeting 2200 would be smarter.

Not finding any used GN local and even the new ones tend to be
not so close. I have not been to a dealer yet. I will be doing that
later this week.
The only think I am finding used here are bumper pulls and most are SHORT.
as in under 16'
But I would like to stay away from a bumper pull with that much weight I think.
Do you all fee the same on that?
My other option is a GN enclosed horse without a tack room.

GN will give you more stability and higher payload.
Personally I'd but for 9 mpgs unloaded.
Also sign up for the pilot/flying J good sams rv advantage card.
With that you get just swipe and pump. The pump won't shut off on you and you can save upwards of 8 cents per gallon depending upon how you set it up.
Bill comes end of month and then you pay it off.
