I thought about going white but my buddy just got a white with Pecan a few months back. That is what lead me to look at the King Ranch for the interior but decided against the two tone. Here is a few pics of a white platinum with pecan that I lifted a few months back/

Thanks for the post cajunboxer. I do like that pecan. I did however think that you could get it in any platinum truck regardless of ext. color?

Cajunboxer is right. Pecan interior only available in those three exterior colors, according to the '15 brochure anyway.

I don't know...I'm leaning toward installing the chromed door handles. After a few months, I have noticed a lot of minor scratches developing in the finger recesses of my painted ones.

Those little scratches come right out with car wax. They aren't really scratches, they just annoying marks.

Thanks Tim and everyone else. I got my truck back this afternoon. Got the bumpers, winch, lights, bilstein shocks, and duel steering stabilizer put on. I see your dually and I am hopping I don't miss mine to much.

If it wasn't for my cab over camper I wouldn't need one. But I sure do like it. Did you sell your already? It sure looks good with the bumpers and the little bit of lift.

Yes I did sell it. We signed the deal today so she is gone. The only thing I got left off the old gal is the Aux tank. Its for a long wheel base so I cant use it in my current truck... Not sure what I gonna do with it sell or trade. I said time to build a bigger shop, Wife said time to stop storing stuff and time to get rid of some things.

I have got my very first diesel truck, a 2015 Platinum, white with pecan, in July and love almost every thing about it.
I like the body colored bumpers and monochrome paint, but of course beauty is purely subjective. Don't care about door handles either way.

I enjoy seeing trucks of other colors on the road but somehow they just don't look right in my carport. MY feeling about MY truck in MY carport are:
"If it ain't white, then it ain't right".

I do have a question though. I want seat covers for my "dirty days and dog days". I really like the Carhartts but according to their web site they don't have them for the 2015 bucket seats. They do have them for the 2014 buckets. Aren't they the same. If not what is the difference?

I like pics too, but I am only semi-literate when it comes to computers. Dang if I can figure out yet how to upload pics. I am running a Macbook Pro with Mavericks X operating system. Mac is fairly new to me, having been a PC man.
If you can tell me how to do it I would love to know.

Thank you,
Nearly Normal Mike (coming to you from Southwest GA.)

you can only upload pics directly if you are a paying member.
otherwise you must post them somewhere else and link to them.

to link a pic from some other site (photobucket for example), you push the mountain icon in the post editor

see the topic at the top of the forum on posting pics
'Read First: [GUIDE] How to post pictures on the forums.'

if you are a paying member, then you can upload pics &docs as attachments directly with each post
