1953 Anniversary edition??
I was looking for something else on the local Craigslist and saw this....
I don't have room for another project but thought I'd share the link.
So, is the anniversary edition something that appeals to anyone? It is a couple hours away from me so I won't go to see it in person.

This car has been in the barn now for about 12 years...it was my #1 project when I got the F100 bug! It sat in a barn in N. Dakota since 1967 before I got it. Now I have a 40 Ford coupe in the garage and the Merc is sliding even farther down the queue. It will get done in the next year or two...that will leave me with a 56 F100, a 40 Deluxe coupe, and the Merc; after that it's Miller time.

I actually like the '48-'50 shoe box Ford
more than the Merc car or Lincoln of that
era. And nothing beats a Monkey Face.
I had a "53 Merc two door with all the bells
and whistles. Car was in like new condition.
I changed out the auto trans for a 3 speed on
the tree with over drive. Took the column from
a '53 Ford sedan. Worked well and looked great
for a 16 year old kid back then. That and a '53
Ford ranch wagon that was also like new with an
engine that ran very hot. Wish I could of kept
them both. But they was so clean that I was offered
crazy money for that time for them. It was the late '60's
and I had just discovered California Girls.
So needed the money. They still like Money.
